⚖️ Equality Act 2010

Some neurodivergent participants may meet the Equality Act 2010 definition of disability — specifically where a condition has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on normal day-to-day activities (s.6). Where that threshold is met, clubs providing services to the public may owe duties including a duty to make reasonable adjustments (s.29). Those duties are anticipatory: they apply to disabled persons generally, not only after an individual raises a concern.
